Symple Symptom Tracker App Reviews

Simply Symple

Simple. Efficient. Organized.

Needs tweaking

I enjoy the app and use it frequently, well daily really. I like the Apple Health integration. My two critiques are as follows: 1. App is extremely slow, when clicking on the daily input when marking symptoms it takes way to long for the scales to show 2. After I updated all the factors show up twice

Great resource

I needed an easy to use app that allowed the option to write in personal details as well as provide a list of symptoms to choose from. This is the best app Ive found.

Bugged out

One of my chief annoyances is when the app disrespects you enough to beg for reviews. Whats made worse is this pop up bugged out the app, and now no matter what, the app wont unlock. Move on. There are alternatives, and theres no need to get an app thats largely hostile to the user experience.

Does a decent job

Im sure the developers will continue to tweak this app. Its on the right track.

Powerful, easy to use, solid performance

For 6 months, easy, daily entries fast to complete. Informative graphs with ability to manipulate to gain understanding of symptoms and causes. Well done Symple!

The name says it all

Symple is simple, and thats a good thing. Ive been looking for an app to track some of my sporadic (yet more debilitating) symptoms before talking to my doctor and this one does the trick. Its interface is relatively easy to pick up and you can set reminders for yourself throughout the day.

Nearly useless now

When I first got this app, it was pretty simple and just tracked my symptoms throughout the day. I like that its broken up by AM, PM, Mid, and Night. I needed several more trackers than just ten so I paid for the upgraded app. Since the new update, I cant add symptoms if the time frame has passed by even a minute. I forgot to track my AM symptoms today, but now that its midday, I cant add AM symptoms. So thats pointless. I also cant print a graph of my trackers, and its difficult to see the the little bubbles on the report. My doctor never looks at it because he cant read it, I have to interpret it for him. Unless the ability to track all days symptoms comes back, Im done with this app.

Lost data

Lost all of my data. I have the free version.

Great app

Very helpful I like that you can go back and add symptoms to different days or time frames, because I forget one times or dont have my phone with me

Great UI, Great potential

The developer has nailed the user interface for human input. Its simple, effective and configurable. The developer responded promptly to feedback and clearly understands the potential. This is an app worth watching. Data is transforming the healthcare industry and an app like this will be critical to a complete system.

So far using the free version

So far Im using the free version to test it out. It has a lot of what I need in an app, I have been looking for something like this for a long time. After a week or two, if I like it, I will need to upgrade to the paid version. 10 factors may not be enough for anyone really, even if they are tracking one symptom. Im trying to track a lot of symptoms as well. The one thing I feel this is missing after a few days of using it is being able to sync with food tracking apps and menstrual cycle tracking apps. I like that it will sync with Apple health to get sleep and exercise data but would be great if it could also sync with food as well. You can use high dairy or high sugar or high carbs as factors but inputting your food directly into an app (for instance a calorie counter) could also indicate when something has high fat or high salt, etc. I think it would be easier for the developers of they allowed it to sync rather than adding in complete food tracking to this app, especially since most food tracker apps already have a database of food. Overall I think this app is pretty well designed and had high potential for the future.

Just what I needed

Did need to upgrade to get enough symptoms, but otherwise its just what I need.

Good App!

This is a really good app if you have new or ongoing health issues. I like that you can create a summary report for your doctor. Its easy to work with, you can go back and catch up on a missed day, and the photo and journal feature is helpful when you f/u with the doctor.

Robust, well designed app, mostly.

Definitely glad I upgraded to get full symptom plus journal features. Would be nice to have a simpler method to add new symptoms to the list, but other than that its a great fit for me.

Fix the "Record Symptoms" Page...

This is a great app. The one issue is that when you are on the "Symptoms" page and click on a button for the time of day you want to log (AM, Mid, PM), it usually takes you to the wrong time of day. For instance if its the evening and I tap an AM slot to log my morning, it takes me to PM page for the "Symptom Record" log. Its hard to notice you are on the wrong page at first because they look identical and you assume it took you to the time you tapped on. I have used this app for months and I still make this "mistake" nearly once a day. Please fix it to where when you tap on an "AM" slot, it takes you to the "AM" page. Otherwise a great app. UPDATE: I recently opened my charts in an Excel graph and WOW the chart display on the app is pretty misleading. It only shows you a few blocks of data vertically, so you could feel very different day to day but the app will round it up or down and display a nearly flat graph. Open your charts in Excel to see the real data presented accurately

Wonderful!

This is such a lovely app. Easy to use, you can go back to previous days and add/change symptoms, and easily keep track of them from day-to-day. I paid a few dollars to add more symptoms since I have two chronic conditions.

EXCELLENT

This app is a complete way to keep track of all health issues

Helps me manage my health

With the upgrade, I can track my symptoms and upgrade a screen shot of the current local weather conditions, so I can draw parallels over time.

Nice app that does what I needed

The paid version of the app allows a pretty quick and convenient way to record any number of symptoms and factors, allowing you to (hopefully) see trends. Ive only had it for a couple weeks but I am enjoying it.
